METHODIST HIGH SCHOOL, OWO, in ONDO STATE OF NIGERIA was Founded by THE METHODIST CHURCH OF NIGERIA in 1965.
The Foundation Students were Admitted Same Year in 1965.
It was at a Time when New Schools were Founded and Run by Religious Bodies and Communities to Complement the few Governments’ Schools.
By the adventure of Military’ Unitary System around 1974, All Schools were taken over by the State Government, Such that the increasing running Costs began to weigh down on Government’s Finances.
The implications manifested in the Present Infrastructural Decay and Poor Academic Performance in most Public Schools, including Our Alma-Mater.
As one of the first associations of its kind, Methodist High School, Owo, Alumni Diaspora (MHSOAD) has set the bar and is proud to serve its loyal, growing community.
